Blocks are generally in nice shape, I see possibly one slightly bent bristle, but no breaks. Box says there are 39 pieces and I have counted 39 pieces, though not in all the colors shown on the box. This is a fun set of vintage Bristle Blocks from Playskool in the original box, dated 1981.
