So now with less than a month left, and still 2 events to go, we are feeling it finally. Perhaps the biggest news is that Brittany's passport came in! We are so pumped about that because it was the only thing truly holding us back. We got the DJI Air 2S with the Fly More package (extra batteries and what not) Oh and we caved and bought a drone upon Brittany's insistence.

We did a full series on the build out of our rig, and currently we're in the middle of an Overlanding 101 series.

Our YouTube channel has hit 15,000 subscribers and we've become very active on that platform. We plan to cross south of the border on or about October 9th to begin the global journey. It is probably his last USA National Park for quite some time. We must have given over 1000 tours of the vehicle in the 3.5 days there.Ĭaspian visited his 37th National Park yesterday. Our rig was on display in the Showcase area there right near the main entrance. We also spoke 5 times at that event and were able to make a ton of new friends. There we picked up 3 more sponsors for our global overland journey. We had a great time at Overland Expo Mountain West. Next event for us is Overland Expo West where we'll be in the Goose Gear booth. So we've done three events so far and we have two more to go. We stopped at a friends place last night, which is one of the reasons I'm able to update. So much has happened since my last update. It does heat the water very fast, so the bottle gas last quite a while for me. The Jet Boil for my coffee if I am not cooking a breakfast is my second choice. The one that I keep as my main stove is the Colman.

I have had as many as 12 different stoves at one time, that I have tried out. I do also have the propane blow torch with soldering past and solder for repairs in the field. You do not want to turn the starting lever down it will restrict the volume of fuel need for the blow torch. This is good for starting a fire if you have damp wood of limited amount of kindling. I open the gas valve with a match or striker at the end of the rod, and you have a blow torch. I take the lever and put it in the up (lighting position) with the tank pumped up. I have been using the Colman stove tank and the rod that goes into the mixer (below the burner). You mentioned that you have a blow torch as well. I would like to like to share a item that I have done since 1972 when I got my first Colman stove. I like your introduction to get people out and traveling.
